Simon has worked in search since 1996. The bulk of his career he has been working within the wealth and asset management sector where mandates have included searches for CEOs, CIOs, COOs and CROs, across distribution, as well as investment managers and support teams.  From 2005 to 2009 Simon was based in Asia managing a regional search practice with offices in Hong Kong and Singapore. As well as leading on financial services searches he also managed searches in functional areas of risk, operations and legal and compliance, and regional searches for industry clients in China, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Since joining Longwater Partners Simon has been part of the Board practice undertaking search work for senior executives and non-executives across a range of industry sectors and charities.

Prior to joining the search industry, Simon spent five years in the British Army. He has a MA from St Andrews University.
