Hugo has worked in executive search since 1991. In 2009, he founded Longwater Partners, where he is the Managing Partner and Head of the Board Practice, working on executive and non-executive boardroom mandates in both financial and non-financial sectors. With a background in financial services search, Hugo also remains actively engaged in search assignments in investment banking and capital markets. He began his career at BZW, where he worked in private wealth management and institutional equity sales.

Hugo is the former Chair of youth charity, LIFEbeat, and of the Knightsbridge School Education Foundation. He has a BA from Durham University.
